           =========================================

Sorry, this "manual" is very brief. I'll try to write a better one in
the future, but I'm afraid you have to stick with this one for now ;(

Usage:
When starting up, Masterlator tries to read its configuration file,
'masterlator.cfg'. It may contain comments preceded by the hash
character '#'. You can selectively override its settings with the
command line options. Just type 'masterlator -h' and read stdout.txt to
learn more about all of them. Whenever an error occurs, Masterlator
will write it into the file stdout.txt. If Masterlator fails to load
the configuration file and there is no command line option, it uses
default settings as follows:

bios               = off
fullscreen_stretch = off
limit_speed        = on
joystick           = off
fullscreen         = off
frameskip          = 0
key_up             = up
key_down           = down
key_left           = left
key_right          = right
key_a              = z
key_b              = x
key_start          = c
jap                = off

For the keyboard settings, you can use the following key codes:

After Masterlator has been started, you can load a ROM by dragging &
dropping it into the program window. ZIP files are supported. If the
ROM modifies the battery backed RAM for savegames, it will be saved in
the 'savegames' directory, the filename being [romfile].sav (for
example 'sonic.sms.sav'). If the 'savegames' directory doesn't exist,
no savegames will be saved.

When Masterlator is running, you can reset with 'r', toggle between
fullscreen and windowed mode with LALT+Return and zoom the window with
'1'..'4'.

By the way, if you want to try some free and legal ROMs, visit Kojote's
PDROMs website at http://www.pdroms.com/.
